SOLECO employees have planted 100 Narra and Toog trees at the Hinabian Mini-hydro Dam in Brgy. Catmon, Saint Bernard, Southern Leyte, as part of the NEA-EC Simultaneous Line Clearing & Tree Planting Activity. This effort celebrates NEA’s 55th Anniversary and the 15th National Electrification Awareness Month (NEAM), themed ‘ECs, Keep the Lights On.’ It highlights SOLECO’s commitment to environmental sustainability and maintaining a dependable power supply for the community. Additionally, separate line clearing activities will be carried out in adherence to the National Greening Program and Republic Act 11361, also known as the Anti-Obstruction of Power Lines Act.
