In a remarkable display of skill and determination, 24-year-old Jomari Arnaiz from Maasin City, Southern Leyte, clinched gold at the 2024 WFDF Asia Oceanic Ultimate Beach Championship held in Shirahama and Tanabe, Japan, from June 12-16, 2024. He secured the gold medal for Team Philippines in the Open Division of the World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF) Asia Oceanic Ultimate Beach Championship.
This victory marks Arnaiz’s second consecutive triumph in the championship, following his title last year in Huntington Beach, California, USA. His outstanding performance not only underscores his personal excellence but also highlights the world-class talent and ability of athletes from Southern Leyte in the realm of frisbee sports.
