The Padajon Christmas Bazaar on December 15 to 29, 2023 will simultaneously conduct livelihood trainings for students, barangay officials, businessmen, and those planning to start a business. There will be morning and afternoon sessions that will be held at the Maasin City Gym.
Professional trainers will conduct the trainings on the areas of Entrepreneurial Mind Setting, Business Plan Preparation, Continuity Planning, Handicraft Bag Making, Labor Laws Orientation, Business Opportunities in Jackfruit Production, Business Opportunities in Cacao and Tableya Production, Business Opportunities in Sweet Potato Production, Business Opportunities in Coconut Sugar Production, Business Opportunities in Coco Peat Soil Conditioner, and Business Opportunities in Cardava Banana.
The other trainings are on Packaging and Labelling, Technical Support for Food Processing, Technology Innovations, Simplified Bookkeeping, BIR Rules and Regulations for Business, Opportunities in Tourism Support Businesses, Brand of Service Excellence, Painting 101, and Occupational First Aid, BLS-CPR and AED.
A powerhouse of trainers will be coming from the Department of Trade and Industry, the Department of Labor and Employment, an experienced Silago farmer, Maasin City Agricultural Services, PhilRootcrops from Visayas State University, Philippine Coconut Authority, a Sogod professional farmer,Department of Science and Technology, Southern Leyte State University, PICPA, Bureau of Internal Revenue and Philippine Red Cross.
Trainings will be conducted every day from December 16 to 23, and December 26 to 28, 2023. Everyone is invited to attend. Registration fee is P350 per session, except the training by Red Cross.
