PADRE BURGOS, Southern Leyte – Adrian James Cruzada of Burgos Reef Boutique Resort and Kiana Chu of JD Beachfront Hotel were crowned as Ginoo and Binibining Padre Burgos 2023, respectively, during the Coronation Night held at Padre Burgos Cultural Gymnasium on July 19, 2023.
Thraviz Alzate Johnson of C-Blue Resort and Pauleene McGuire of Sogod Bay Scuba Resort finished as 1st Runners Up; Jai Morial and Daniela Marie Leonelli of Peter’s Dive Resort finished as 2nd Runners Up. Bagging most of the major awards were Thraviz Alzate Johnson and Pauleene McGuire, while Adrian James Cruzada and Kiana Chu bagged the Free Speech Award.
This is the first mixed pageant ever held in Padre Burgos. The organizing committee headed by Mr. Shadrach Crisostomo said their goal is to empower the youth and to encourage them not to be apathetic when it comes to social issues and to have active participation in the community.
Twelve (12) business establishments in Padre Burgos which are active in the pursuit for a greener and safer municipality were well-represented during the pageant. The pageant selection committee included Mr. SOLPRISAA 2023 Justin King Maraon; Miss Southern Leyte 1999 1st Runner Up Tracy Macabuhay; CEO of Skeen Life Aesthetic Clinic Marvin Yepes; Cebuano Artist and Drummer of Oh!
