Eighty percent of barangays with electricity after Odette

SOUTHERN LEYTE – The Southern Leyte Electric Cooperative, Inc., (SOLECO) released data that out of 503 barangays in the province, 399 barangays have electricity.
The electric company, with Task Force 157 Typhoon Odette Rehabilitation and Power Restoration, released an update on some of the municipalities that are partially energized as of May 2, 2022. Out of 70 barangays in Maasin City, 56 have been energized. In Macrohon town 28 barangays have electricity, out of 30 barangays; 25, out of 37 in Malitbog; 17, out of 29 in Tomas Oppus; 23, out of 40 in Bontoc; 27, out of 45 in Sogod; 14, out of 24 in Liloan; 19 out of 22 in San Francisco; 7 out of 15, in San Ricardo; 27, out of 30 in Saint Bernard; 13 out of 14 in Anahawan; 38, out of 40 in Hinunangan, and 4 out of 6 in Limasawa.
Meanwhile, Padre Burgos, Libagon, Pintuyan, San Juan, Hinundayan, and Silago towns are 100% fully energized.
As of this writing, out of 105, 787 billed/active connections as of November 2021 billing, 81,909 or 77.43% consumers are already energized.
