Farmer entrepreneur shines in national award

Young farmer-entrepreneur Glindo Mira of Southern Leyte was chosen as a finalist in the Injap Sia Outstanding Young Entrepreneurs (ISOYEA) national level competition. Young farmers from different parts of the country were considered but only few were given the chance to present a video presentation and online interview.
The awarding ceremony was during the Philippine Business Conference held at the Manila Hotel on October 19, 2022. This award recognizes new breed of entrepreneurs who are able to innovate ideas to develop new market, create wealth and generate job.
Mira owns the Sir G. Integrated Farm in Tomas Oppus town, Southern Leyte which was earlier featured in SLT’s Lifestyle issue 1168. He is also an active member of the Southern Leyte Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a business organization affiliated with the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
