Brgy. Hingatungan in Silago, Southern Leyte, hosted its inaugural Katungan Festival. As part of the fiesta festivities, a festival dance competition took center stage, featuring three clusters showcasing their rich cultural heritage and artistic talents. After an exhilarating showcase of dance and music, Cluster 3, comprised of Purok Avocado, Luyo, and Mahogany, emerged as the Grand Champion, sweeping awards for Best in Street Dancing, Musicality, Choreography, and Costume. Cluster 2, represented by Purok Mabolo, Seaside, and Banana, secured the 2nd place, while Cluster 1, consisting of Purok Gumamela, Papaya, Riverside 1, and 2, claimed the 3rd spot.
