The Fisheries and Coastal Resiliency Art Competition was recently held at Sogod town during the FISHCOREXHIBIT 2025, led by Vice Mayor Jose Ramil Golo.
Young artists from Southern Leyte State University, and of areas in Sogod and Bontoc participated in the competition.
The event was part of the FishCoRe Project of the Department of Agriculture and BFAR Region 8, and facilitated by the Municipal Agriculture Service Office.
Winners of the competition were Rhoegie Ybanez – 1st Place and Region 8 representative for the national exhibit, Michelle Muñez – 2nd Place, and Kenneth Balendres – 3rd Place. (Source: Politiko)
