Hayagan captures 3rd place in national Master Electrician exam

25 year old Wowie Salvador Hayagan made it to top 3 in the Registered Master Electricians Licensure Examination (RME), as released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) last May 3, 2023.
Hayagan is from Zone 3, Sogod, Southern Leyte, who obtained a passing average of 93%.
He finished his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Southern Leyte State University (SLSU) last July 2022.
He is the son of Enriquita and Rogelio Hayagan, and has 9 siblings – Aljohn, Loiue Jay, Lyndon, Rudy, Dennis, Mario, Divina, Rogelio Jr. and Lolita.
The university obtained an institutional passing rate of 57.89% for master electrician with 11 passers, surpassing the national passing rate of 42.21%.
Other master electrician passers from SLSU are: Jonathan Arcilla Garbes, Mark Joevil Laurena Dugos, Clyde Reymar Alejandria Suan, Kenneth Vell Frederick Ozon, Cleto Teves Ansale Michael Sta-Agata Evale, Christian John Cero, Jayson Amparo Sanchez, Alfie Francis Epis Amolato and Jovit Claveria
Out of 2,336, only 986 passed the RME examination according to PRC.
