Hinundayan police are good samaritans

The Hinundayan, Southern Leyte policemen assisted a child with meningitis who has been sick for almost a year and was fed through a nasogastric tube. The cops went to the house of Ashley Kate Sequeña after they were informed of her medical condition.
They raised funds to provide the basic needs of Ashley Kate Sequeña and sought medical treatment and provided medicine for her. They also vowed to continue assisting her for her recovery.
General Guillermo Lorenzo Eleazar, chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP), praised the Hinundayan Police Station cops for their commendable gesture. “I really appreciate this act of kindness and it only shows the big heart of almost all of our personnel on the ground,” said Eleazar.
“I hope that this act of kindness would touch the heart of all other personnel and inspire them to do the same in the name of police service,” he added.
