The Department of Trade and Industry, Southern Leyte Chamber of Commerce & Industry, and the Securities and Exchange Commission held a seminar on organizing a good and compliant corporation, held at the Country Lodge in Maasin City last November 22, 2024. The business event focused on the Local Economy, Concepts of a Corporation, and Corporate Registration & SEC Compliance tips. Later, Orix Metro and Small Business Corporation presented to local Southern Leyte businesses their loan packages for local business owners. The seminar speakers included DTI’s Maria Aurora D. Sabalo, SLCCI’s Michael B. Nuñez, SEC’s Atty. Richie Lodevico & Joamir Perpinan, DTI’s Disereely B. Maco and Marilyn M. Durac.
