The DPWH Southern Leyte 1st District Engineering Office (DPWH SL1DEO) has begun constructing a new school building in Malitbog, Southern Leyte.
The project includes a two-storey, eight-classroom facility equipped with CCTVs, android TVs, air-conditioning, a fire alarm system, and a hybrid solar panel setup. It also features elevated water tanks with a pumping system.
Funded by the Department of Education with a budget of P38.8 million, the building aims to meet the increasing student population and provide a better learning environment.
“This project supports our commitment to quality education through improved infrastructure,” said District Engineer Manolo A. Rojas.
