The Philippine Red Cross Southern Leyte Chapter was honored with five national awards during the 34th Philippine Red Cross (PRC) National Biennial Convention in Manila.
The five awards given to PRC-Southern Leyte for its hard earned work, contribution and commitment were: Outstanding Chapter for Membership Fund Drive 2023; Outstanding Chapter for Membership Fund Drive 2024; Outstanding Chapter for Blood Collecting Unit- Blood Station in 2024; Volunteer Services Red Cross 143 Completion Award; and the Aurora Aragon Quezon Medal Award thru PRCSLC Honorary Chairman and Provincial Governor Damian G. Mercado.

The PRC Southern Leyte Chapter staff led by Chapter Administrator Jonas Maco, Volunteers (RC 143 & RCY Families -Provincial, Municipal & Barangay/School Level), and Board of Directors helmed by its Chairman Mayor Nacional V.
