Senior citizens receive cash gifts in Hinunangan, Sogod

Nine senior citizens, aged 80, 85, 90, and 95, received P10,000 cash gift each on March 7, 2025, part of the implementation of Republic Act 11982, covering the period from March 17 to December 31, 2024. The cash gift was distributed by the National Commission of Senior Citizens Affairs during a ceremony held at the Labrador Legislative Building in Hinunangan, Southern Leyte.
Similarly in Sogod, ten eligible senior citizens also received their P10,000 cash gift, while one centenarian was awarded P100,000 through the National Commission of Senior Citizens and the National Government. (AVista, Source: LGU Hinunangan, LGU Sogod)
