The 38th State Colleges and Universities Athletic Association SCUAA Eastern Visayas Regional Meet has brought together the top athletes from state universities and colleges across the region. Held from December 8 to 13, 2024 at Catbalogan City, the event showcased exceptional talent, sportsmanship, and unity among participants.
This year’s competition served as a vibrant platform for student-athletes to excel in various sports disciplines while celebrating regional pride.
Southern Leyte State University participants shined with 16 gold medals, 25 silver and 37 bronze as of this writing, in this annual competition. Other participating institutions were Biliran Province State University, Eastern Samar State University, Eastern Visayas State University, Leyte Normal University, Northwest Samar State University, Palompon Institute of Technology, Samar State University, University of Eastern Philippines, University of the Philippines Tacloban College, and Visayas State University.
