On October 28, 2024, the Systems Technology Institute (STI) – Maasin held activities at the Maasin City Gym that showcased talents from its students. It was a night filled with elegance and skill, where Ceasar Ian L. Jovita and Meicy R. Sabandal coveted the Mister and Miss STI Maasin 2024 title at the highly anticipated pageant. Adding glamour and glib to the remarkable evening were Miko Beringuel and Christine R. Caballo who were chosen as First Runners-up, and Bon Harold Fernandez and Maria Pacita Araña as Second Runners-up.
The school celebration also included the STI Talent Search 2024, wherein Janniah Krisleen Zamora came out victorious in the Singing Idol category. The Red Flowers group triumphed in Hataw Sayaw contest, and The Chicken Wings band was adjudged the Best in the Battle of the Bands.
STI College is a nationwide school system specializing in computer and business courses. It has more than 63 campuses in the Philippines. The STI-Maasin is managed by the Sy Family, under the supervision of Effie Panny “PJ” Sy and Effie Naida “Chinchin” Sy Visaya.
