Tan’s food production to combat food crisis

In a chat interview, Vice-Mayor Jose Ramil Golo said that Mayor Sheffered Tan, as a newly elected mayor, directed all employees to plant vegetables on the vacant portion of the municipal ground.
“He is a result-oriented mayor and wanted that food security thru his ‘from garden to table’ program would be his priority to combat the high prices of vegetables in the market,” Golo explained.
The harvested vegetables included cucumber, tomato, eggplant and calabash (upo) were given free to all employees.
