Two Maasinhon archers win gold medals in competition

Five Maasinhon athletes won medals in the Open Invitational Region-wide Archery competition during the celebration of Piña Festival last June 25, 2022 in Ormoc City.
Philippe Joseph Paler won a gold medal each in Olympic Event (Boys) and Team Event (Boys). He also captured a silver medal in 18M.
Earl Christian Chavez also won a gold medal in Team Event (Boys). Meanwhile, Hazel Mae Alvarez won a silver medal in 18M (Girls) and bronze for Olympic Event (Girls).
Arjim Arnaiz was awarded a silver medal in Team Event (Boys), a bronze medal in 18M (Boys) and another bronze in 30M (Boys). James Duremdes also got silver on Team Event (Boys) competition.
The Maasin archery team was coached by Kenny Ralph B. Kapili.
