Southern Leyteños witnessed the total lunar eclipse also called as Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse last November 8, 2022. This occurrence rarely happens for years. The earth passes directly between the sun and the moon, casting a deep shadow. The eclipse lasted for more than an hour.
