In celebration of LGU Pintuyan’s 117th Founding Anniversary, a vibrant program of activities has been meticulously planned from March 15 to March 19, 2024. An array of events that promises excitement and community engagement was given to SLT by Mark Livie Orias, Public Information Officer in-charge of LGU Pintuyan. The festivities will kick off on March 13 with a noble bloodletting activity, followed by an opening salvo, basketball tournament commencement, and the thrilling bancarera on March 14. On March 15, the community will come together for a tree planting initiative, continued basketball matches, and the heartwarming Kasalan ng Bayan, culminating in a lively LIGA Night celebration. March 16 offers adrenaline-pumping airsoft battles, continuation of basketball games, engaging parlor games, and a special DepED Night. March 17 marks the highly anticipated Miss Pintuyan 2024 pageant. Also scheduled for March 16 and 17 are the concurrent complimentary rides on the municipality’s new recreational watercrafts awaiting eager participants, especially for residents and visitors as a special treat from their mayor, Ricarte Amper Estrella. The championship showdown of the basketball tournament takes place on March 18, leading up to the final day on March 19, featuring a jubilant parade showcasing Tiki-Tiki Street Dancing, a spirited Tiki-Tiki Mascot Contest, and a fitting culmination of the anniversary festivities. With a diverse range of activities catering to all ages and interests, LGU Pintuyan’s founding anniversary promises joy, camaraderie, and lasting memories for the entire community.
