A highly respected retired career military man of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, Lieutenant General Bonifacio Basco Ramos celebrated his 70th birthday last August 30 in Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A. There was a simple dinner and short program in Maggiano’s Little Italy Restaurant, tendered by his family. Boni has this message to his family, relatives, friends and well-wishers,
“Thank you for your greetings on my 70th birthday. The seventy-year narrative of my life portrays a picture of hardships and, by God’s Grace, accompanied with blessings. Through the past challenges I had your support, encouragement and inspiration.”
“It is my prayer that, in the midst of these uncertain times, the feature of our future be a trail of peace, prosperity and happiness for us all. Again, thank you. God bless us and keep us safe in the hollow of His hands!”
