No quarantine if fully vaccinated

Quarantine is no longer required for fully vaccinated individuals coming from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao, according to provincial Executive Order No. 58. The recommendation was made by Libagon Municipal Mayor Sabina Ranque and approved by local mayors during the Provincial Inter-Agency Task Force virtual meeting on December 2, 2021.
It was also agreed that individuals who are not fully vaccinated and those who are vaccinated only with first dose, with negative RT-PCR results, the quarantine will be based on barangay herd immunity data. If more individuals are vaccinated, less quarantine protocol is needed, says Limasawa Mayor Melchor Petracorta, and this was approved by all local mayors.
S-PaSS or Safe, Swift and Smart Passage is no longer required to enter the province. However, residents, individuals, and local tourists must present the vaccination card, QR Code and Valid ID.
Returning Overseas Filipinos or ROFs are required to undergo mandatory quarantine for 7 days. If they have symptoms, they will be placed in an isolation facility.
On establishments, people and activities, 70% of the venue capacity is allowed to operate, including gatherings outside the areas of entertainment, fairs and cockfighting operations. For contact sports such as basketball or any sport, players have to show the vaccination card to the barangay officials, and no inter-barangay activity is allowed.
Provincial Governor Damian Mercado urged the public to observe social distancing and wear a facemask at all times, to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
Southern Leyte is under alert level 2 or Modified General Community Quarantine from December 2, 2021 to the last day of the month.
