P200,000 for Centenarian

The first recorded centenarian in Silago town received P200,000 cash incentives.
Lola Felissa Demiao Honor, 100-year-old who was born on April 22, 1922, a resident of barangay Mercedes, Silago.
The P100,000 cash was from the Department of Social Welfare Development Regional Field Office 8 while the other P100,000 check came from from the local government of Silago.
Under the law, Filipinos who reach the age of one hundred (100) years old will received a centenarian gift in the amount of Php100,000.
The Centenarian incentive was personally given by Municipal Mayor Lemuel P. Honor, with the presence of the DSWD Centenarian Focal Menchie, PSWDO OIC Mercy Pacha, former PSWDO Head Nely Gomez, Provincial Senior Citizens’ Focal Persons Darwin Milagroso and Bonifacio Egido, MSWDO Head Chrisa Gerong and MSWD Assistant Jessalyn Hadlocon, escorted by Police head OIC Police Lieutenant Juanisa Mendoza.
