PCA Updates Coco Farmers List in Southern Leyte

According to the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) provincial office, about 37,220 coconut farmers had undergone enlisting delisting and updating process (EDUP) since last July 15 this year.
In 2021, database record of coconut farmers in Southern Leyte reached 66,186 showing more than half were already updated as of September 2022.
The PCA is calling on coco farmers to visit any EDUP activity in various locations in the province.
They may also coordinate with the LGU’s in towns, city or barangays to know the EDUP scheduled. Those who prefer may visit the PCA provincial office at SLEM Maasin Office in barangay Asuncion, Maasin City.
The PCA is updating the registered list of coco farmers registered in the National Coconut Farmers Registry System (NCFRS).
Many farmers who had undergone the EDUP are from Silago, Hinunangan, Hinundayan, San Franciscoi, Liloan, Macrohon, Tomas Oppus, Bontoc and Maasin City. (JSM)
