SP supports Southern Leyteño athletes

The Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) allocates transportation assistance for the upcoming Eastern Visayas Regional Athletic Association Meet 2023. The transportation assistance amounting to P300,000 was charged from the Southern Leyte Provincial Sports Council Fund 2023.
The EVRAA Meet 2023 is set to take place at Tacloban City in a week-long activity this April 22 to April 28.
The EVRAA meet is an annual multi-sport competition that aims to promote team spirit, promoting sportsmanship among the student-athletes in the region. The event will showcase their skills in sports activities such as swimming, basketball, volleyball, football, taekwondo, archery and track-and-field.
The resolution allocating transportation assistance was put into law from request by the Department of Education Southern Leyte Division, which was approved by the Southern Leyte Provincial Council based on Council Resolution No. 01, Series of 2023.
