Business community shares with Odette victims

The Philippine Chamber of Commerce Incorporated (PCCI) mobilized to help some seriously affected municipalities of Southern Leyte.
PCCI Regional Governor Wilson Uy contacted Southern Leyte Chamber of Commerce (SLCCI) President Gloria M. Reyes the day after super typhoon Odette hit Southern Leyte. He said that PCCI was giving assistance to typhoon victims in the province. This was channeled through President Eugene of PCCI-Tacloban, Leyte who gave priority to the severely affected coastal municipalities. Northern Leyte businessmen convoyed to Pintuyan, Liloan and Libagon, Southern Leyte to distribute more than one thousand two hundred food packages.
Meanwhile, Ormoc Printshoppe, also brought some cheers to its media clients in Southern Leyte whose employees direly needed those relief packages.
Fast-food giant Jollibee Group, through its social development arm, Jollibee Group Foundation (JGF), also gave out some food packs to the people lined up at the Maasin City gym, in coordination with the city government, through JGF’s FoodAID Program. It was reported that Jollibee is helping 33,000 individuals in Southern Leyte, Surigao del Norte, and Negros Occidental.
