Ichon is on MECQ

Barangay Ichon in the municipality of Macrohon is on Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine from August 26, 2021 until September 8, 2021 due to rising COVID-19 cases, according to the Macrohon Police Community Relations Office.
Meanwhile, the Baybay City Inter-Agency Task Force – Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases named hotspot areas in Eastern Visayas that require barangay certification if a person entering the City of Baybay is not a PUM or PUI Covid-19 suspect, probable or confirmed Covid-19 case from respective places of origin.
The boarder checkpoints require barangay certification from the people who are coming from areas that are identified by the Department of Health (DOH) as high-risk areas and some areas will be allowed to enter for essential purposes only, namely: Abuyog, Leyte, Albuera, Matalom, Carigara, Hilongos, Palo, Hindang, Inopacan, Isabel, Kanangga, in Leyte Province, Macrohon, Sogod and Maasin in Southern province, Ormoc City and Tacloban City.
