Stabbed in disco party

Maasin City – A 22-year-old victim, full of blood cried for help while laying in the pathway in Sitio Sudlon barangay Tagnipa, Maasin City, early morning of May 4, 2022.
According to the police report, their suspect, a 28-year-old, single, welder and a resident of barangay Batuan, Maasin City, allegedly stabbed the victim a single, catering service staff and a resident of barangay Combado, during the disco party in neighboring barangay Tagnipa.
The victim was rushed to the nearest hospital for medical attention while the suspect was apprehended by the Maasin City Police.
Meanwhile, after two years of avoiding the Covid-19 virus spread, the local Inter-Agency Task Force now permits mass gatherings involving venues with live voice or wind-instrument performers and audiences such as disco, karaoke bars, clubs, concert halls and theaters but must present proof of vaccination and wear face mask.
