Engineer Allan D. Eway, the former Assistant District Engineer of the Department of Public Works and Highways Southern Leyte District Engineering Office (SLDEO) who worked there for many years has been assigned to assume a higher position, as OIC-District Engineer, in Leyte 1st District Engineering Office in Pawing, Palo, Leyte.
The SLDEO District Engineer Manolo A. Rojas, commended Eway for his “outstanding leadership and for creating visions in everyone’s minds about what the Department can accomplish and how to do it.”
Replacing Eway, the new Assistant District Engineer (ADE) in Southern Leyte is Engineer Gideon C. Sacro. Engineer Sacro’s former assignment was as Maintenance Section Chief.
DE Manolo Rojas congratulated and welcomed Sacro to his new post, “expressing his hope that the two will work together to help the Department achieve its vision and objective of reaching its full potential by delivering high quality services to the people of Southern Leyte.”
