SOUTHERN LEYTE – The town of Padre Burgos was declared as the second best in a national award for Malinis at Masaganang Karagatan (MMK). Culpa, Vice-Mayor Freiche Barcelon Poblete and other staff were there to receive the said award.
“After the conduct of the 2-day national validation for Malinis at Masaganang Karagatan of the municipality of Padre Burgos, only Padre Burgos qualified in the entire region and only 5 municipalities in the entire Philippines,” Vice-Mayor Poblete said in a facebook post.
Padre Burgos, including two other municipalities particularly Caluya, Antique and Sagñay Camarines Sur, won against 42 coastal areas in the Philippines.
